FAQ A TraderWrite

Terms

Plain rules for using FAQ A Trader.

By using this site you agree to these terms.

FAQ A Trader is an independent review site. It is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. It is not a Consumer Duty disclosure from an authorised firm. Nothing here is legal, financial, investment, or trading advice. English law applies. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

Write only about your own dealing with a company. Do not pretend to be someone else. Do not post a review in exchange for money, a gift, or a promise to take another review down. UK consumer law, including the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, treats fake reviews as unlawful. We do not publish staff reviews, test reviews, or invented scores as if they were genuine. If this site has no confirmed review of a company, the page says so.

A review is not public until the email is confirmed. If a different email arrives from a connection we have already seen, we may hold that review and look at it before it goes on the page.

Once a review is on the page, the company cannot pay us to remove it. They may reply in public when that is built. A refund or an apology does not take the original words down.

You can point to a public page on another site. You must not paste other people’s reviews from those sites into this one. Those words are not yours to move.

We may hold or refuse a review if it looks like it was not a real experience, if it repeats from the same connection under new names, or if it is unlawful. We may remove a review if a court orders it, or if it puts someone in danger.

Scores on other sites belong to those sites. When we show one, it is a number already on that website, with a date and a link. We do not invent those numbers. We do not promise they are live, complete, or still current. They never replace the score from reviews written here.

Company names in the list are real firms, so people can find them. A listing is not a recommendation. An empty score is not a claim that nobody reviews them elsewhere.
